DI-GEL Tablets: Active Ingredients: (Per Tablet)--Simethicone 20 mg., Calcium Carbonate 280 mg., Magnesium Hydroxide 128 mg. Inactive Ingredients: D & C yellow No. 10 aluminum lake, FD&C yellow No. 6 aluminum lake, flavor, magnesium stearate, malto-dextrin mannitol, povidone, pregelatinized starch, starch, stearic acid, sucrose, talc.
Dietetically sodium free, calcium rich.
Indications: For fast, temporary relief of acid indigestion, heartburn, sour stomach and accompanying symptoms of gas.
Actions: When excess acid and bubbles of gas are trapped in the stomach, they can cause heartburn and acid indigestion.
The white layer of Di-Gel goes to work fast to neutralize excess acid. While, unlike plain antacids, the Simethicone in the yellow layer breaks up gas bubbles rapidly.
Di-Gel is also calcium rich, 2 tablets contribute 22% of the U.S. recommended daily intact of calcium.
Warnings: Do not take more than 24 tablets in a 24 hour period, or use the maximum dosage of this product for more than 2 weeks, or use if you have kidney disease, except under the advice and supervision of a physician. Tablets may cause constipation or have a laxative effect. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children.
Drug Interaction: Antacids may interact with certain prescription drugs. If you are presently taking a prescription drug, do not take this product without checking with your doctor or other health professional.
Directions: TABLETS: Chew 2 to 4 tablets every 2 hours, after or between meals and at bedtime, or as directed by a doctor.
Store between 15° and 30°C (59° and 86°F). Protect from excessive moisture.
