Orajel P.M. is the first nighttime toothache pain relief medicine. This long-lasting paste is formulated to stay in place for extended duration of relief.
Active Ingredient: Benzocaine 20%.
Inactive Ingredients: Flavor, Polyethylene Glycols, Sodium Saccharin, Sorbic Acid.
Orajel PM Cellulose Gum, Gelatin, Menthol, Methyl Salicylate, Pectin, Plasticized Hydrocarbon Gel, Polyethylene Glycol, Sodium Saccharin.
Indications: Maximum Strength Orajel and Orajel P.M. are formulated to provide fast, long lasting relief from daytime and nighttime toothache pain.
Actions: Benzocaine is a topical, local anesthetic commonly used for pain, discomfort, or pruritis associated with wounds, mucous membranes and skin irritation.
Warning: Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. Do not use if tube tip is cut prior to opening. Do not use this product if you have a history of allergy to local anesthetics such as procaine, butacaine, benzocaine or other "caine" anesthetics. In case of accidental overdose or allergic reaction, seek professional assistance or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.
Precaution: This preparation is intended for use in cases of toothache only as a temporary expedient until a dentist can be consulted. Do not use continuously.
Directions: Remove cap. Cut open tip of tube at score mark. Squeeze a small quantity of Maximum Strength Orajel directly into cavity and around gum surrounding the teeth. Firmly squeeze a one inch strip of Orajel P.M. onto a finger or cotton swab. Apply it to affected cavity and around the gum surrounding the teeth.
How Supplied: Gel in two sizes--.18 oz (5.3 g) and .33 oz (9.4 g) tubes.
Liquid in .45 fl. oz. (13.3 ml) bottle.
